To optimize consumption, Stop & START system is available on most engines – diesel engines with 2 and 1.6 l petrol – and the manual gearbox has a gear shift indicator in the instrument panel. There will be four engines:
1.6 l 86 kW (115 hp) 152 Nm, 5-speed manual;
2.0 l 113 kW (150 hp) 198 Nm, 5-speed manual or CVT.
1.6 l HDi PEF 84 kW (115 hp) 270/280 Nm with overboost, 6-speed manual;
1.8 l HDi PEF 110 kW (150 hp) 300 Nm, 6-speed manual.
For Europe, 4008 will be offered with the two HDi diesel engines. In other countries, it will be marketed with the most appropriate power train (s). With a 1.6 l petrol and HDi diesel engines, Peugeot 4008 record performance of 119 g / km CO2 in 4×2 mode and 129 g / km in the 4X4 mode with the HDi 115 engine hp and from 135 g / km with the 1.6 l petrol engine, low consumption of 4.6 l/100 km in 4×2 mode and 4.9 l/100 km in the 4X4 mode.
2013 Peugeot 4008 is designed to provide the highest level of security secondary.
